A former employee of Kilonzo & Company Advocates shared their experience of working with the law firm, including their time as personal assistant to Kethi Kilonzo, in an interview with Career Point Kenya.

The individual, who wishes to remain anonymous, initially applied for a position as a front office receptionist by dropping off their CV at the company's offices. They were called for an interview a month later, and after a second interview two months after that, they secured the job.

The interview process involved both oral and written components, with questions focused on their academic background and previous work experience. The working environment was described as good but challenging.

During their seven-year tenure with the firm, the employee was promoted to the role of PA/Secretary to Kethi Kilonzo after working as a receptionist for three and a half years. They cited attending evening classes as one of the challenges they faced.

When asked about their best experience while working at the firm, the employee mentioned that they became a better person, improved their skills, and grew professionally. However, they disliked having to go to the office late and preferred starting their day early.

The former employee would recommend working with the firm to others, provided they are hardworking. When asked for advice to the top management, they simply said, "Bravo!"
