Kiambu Governor Waititu's Daughter Marries in Lavish Ceremony

On Saturday, Dr. Monica Njeri Ndungu, daughter of Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu, exchanged marriage vows with Herman Nyotu Gitau in a lavish white wedding ceremony at PCEA Evergreen Church in Runda.

The ceremony, which was invite-only, was attended by high-profile guests including Deputy President William Ruto and former first lady Mama Ngina Kenyatta.

Other notable guests included President Kenyatta's brother Muhoho Kenyatta, Transport Principal Secretary Esther Koimet, Murang'a Woman Representative Sabina Chege, and Nyandarua Governor Francis Kimemia.

The reception was later held at Windsor Golf and Country Club.

Dr. Njeri, a senior doctor at Gatundu Level 5 Hospital, is an alumnus of the University of Nairobi and previously worked at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH).
