Sadaf Deen, a 19-year-old model, announced her intention to run for the Mombasa County Woman Representative seat in 2017.
According to SDE, Sadaf was born in Nairobi, studied in London, and owns a company that has been in operation for three years. She has also hosted several high-profile parties in Mombasa County.
Sadaf, a business administration graduate, expressed her passion for politics, stating that her exposure to different parts of the world would help her serve her people better.
"I was born in Nairobi after which I went to India for studies before going to London where I studied Business Administration. Besides the exposure and the experience that I have received from being all over the world, my passion remains my greatest force when it comes to society issues such as politics,"
Sadaf's announcement came as other young Kenyan celebrities were also declaring their intentions to run for various political seats in 2017.
