These sources indicate that Jubilee supporters and senior politicians from the Mount Kenya region are urging her to resign. Additionally, there is reportedly discomfort within her ministry, with employees feeling victimized when issues arise.
Politicians from the region have also expressed concern that the scandals emanating from Waiguru's ministry have significantly eroded President Uhuru's popularity, even in his stronghold. They have threatened to quit the party if the president does not address the issue.
