Education Cabinet Secretary Jacob Kaimenyi has urged universities to review their academic programmes every five years to remain relevant and avoid being labeled 'dinosaurs'. He made these remarks during the granting of letters of Interim Authority to International Leadership University and Zetech University at the Commission for University Education in Gigiri.

Commission for University Education Chairman Henry Thairu also announced that there will be a crackdown on foreign higher education institutions that deceive Kenyans into believing they are legitimate.
