Fidel Odinga, the son of Raila Odinga, allegedly smashed a car windshield during the Safaricom Dala 7s rugby competition in Kisumu.

According to eyewitnesses, Fidel, who is also the Chairman of Kisumu Rugby Football Club, stopped a car driven by Eugene Mutisya on the pitch and forced him out before damaging the vehicle. Mutisya was also roughed up in the incident.

Mutisya questioned why Fidel targeted his car, saying, "Many cars drove onto the pitch, why is it that Fidel only attacked mine? This is unacceptable."

Fans who witnessed the incident criticized Fidel's behavior, with one saying, "There was a better way to handle the matter. Fidel should not have involved himself."

However, Fidel's friends defended his actions, claiming he was acting in self-defense. One friend stated, "Fidel was already having a hard time with the organisers and as chairman; he was in charge of everything. The driver of the car was insisting on crashing the VIP party."

The recovered account cited reporting by E! News.
