Notorious Wins Italian Cup at Ngong ¶
On July 21, 2019, Notorious, a seven-year-old horse trained by Onesmus Mutua for Justin Mburu, made a remarkable win in the Italian Cup at Ngong.
Notorious, who has been a model of solidity with nine winners and eight places, ran a barnstorming race to modernize the ambitions of Harbour Bay and Shaman.
Trainer Onesmus Mutua went on to furnish a treble, as did jockey Josphat Kultiang. Moonlight Shadow lived up to her hoopla as an equine oasis of tranquility in the Prince of Wales Trophy for Sarah Spencer.
Joe Muya was on hot Nakuru form with a treble from Wind Rose, Eternal, and Miss Zuri. Pharoah's Advocate short-headed Gold Pot in the Stewards' Cup, but nothing else mattered, way behind.
Notorious's win in the Italian Cup was a notable achievement, and it marked a successful day for trainer Onesmus Mutua and jockey Josphat Kultiang.
