Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko’s father, Gideon Kioko Kivanguli, has passed away.
According to the senator, his father died on Sunday evening while receiving treatment at a Nairobi hospital. Mr. Kioko had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), although the nature of his illness is not specified.
Sonko shared the news on social media, expressing gratitude to those who supported him and his family in prayer. He stated, "Dear Kenyans and watu wangu nyote in general I thank each and everyone of you for your prayers during my Dad’s sickness. We all loved him but GOD loved him more than us. Mzee has just left us. Continue praying for our family and all those in similar situations."
