An angry Kenyan, identified as Onyango Jnr, expressed his dissatisfaction with Deputy President William Ruto's support for the appointment of 302 Parastatal Executives by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Ruto claimed that the appointments were based on merit and experience. However, Onyango disagreed, stating that Ruto was taking Kenyans for a ride.
Onyango took to social media to express his thoughts, saying:
Dr. William Ruto we don’t want to talk to you, we don’t want to listen to you. Talk to yourself. You can fool us, but we know you are a zoologist and a swamp expert meaning you can even go and convince the leopards in Nairobi National park, or abadares or wait for Wildebeests to cross over from Serengeti or even jump into river mara and explain to the crocodiles that those appointments were pegged on merit, competence equity, experience, yada yada yada. In fact you are not a hustler, that’s why those appointments were sexually transmitted, since when did blood become a qualification? If you are eating, take your mouth and sit on it. We are not children & some of those people you appointed are semi-illiterate such as Raphael Wanjala & the other friend of mine I will not name. See you can go ahead and appoint all your 7 children, it’s ok, you don’t owe us any explanation, but we owe you one in 2017.
The criticism comes after Ruto defended the appointments, sparking controversy among Kenyans.
