Pastor Maina Nganga was involved in an accident on Saturday night along the Eastern Bypass, a location where a fatal accident had occurred previously, resulting in the death of Nana Gichuru.
According to the statement, Pastor Nganga was driving at high speed from a nearby pub when he collided with a matatu from behind, causing significant damage to the vehicle. After realizing he had been involved in an accident, Pastor Nganga attempted to leave the scene but was prevented from doing so by the passengers, who were aware of his reputation.
Pastor Nganga, who was allegedly intoxicated, exited his BMW X6 and began apologizing to those present at the scene, quoting Bible verses. He was subsequently taken to Kikuyu Police Station, where he provided a statement.
This incident may have implications for Pastor Nganga, who is already facing another case that could potentially lead to his imprisonment.
