Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Director of Elections, Junet Mohammed, who is also the Suna East MP, met with the Somali community in Kajiado to support ODM candidate Elijah Memusi.
According to the statement, Junet Mohammed emphasized the importance of the election for the Orange party, citing concerns that competitors aim to reduce the opposition's parliamentary strength. This follows a successful fundraiser and resource mobilization event for Memusi earlier in the week.
Junet Mohammed was accompanied by Abdikadir Omar and Kisumu Senator Peter Anyang' Nyong'o. ODM's East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) legislator, Judy Pareno, who chairs the ODM National Elections board, also joined the campaign. As a native of the constituency, Pareno was previously nominated to the EALA by Raila Odinga.
