Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has had a long-standing career in politics, dating back to the early 1970s when he was an engineering student in Germany. In addition to his political endeavors, Odinga has also accumulated significant wealth.
Part of his wealth was inherited from his father, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga. However, he has also made substantial amounts through his involvement in politics.
It is estimated that between 2002 and 2013, Odinga made approximately Sh 10 billion during his tenure as Prime Minister.
