Leaders of the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) are set to hold a major public rally in Kisumu town. According to the plans, the leaders will outline their political strategy ahead of the 2017 general election and address other issues of national significance.
The rally is expected to be attended by key CORD figures, including Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, and Moses Wetang’ula, as well as various senators, governors, members of parliament, and other leaders. Prior to the rally, the principals will meet with senators and governors at the Ecolodge Hotel, starting at 9 am, before proceeding to the main event at the Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground at 2 pm.
