Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba and his wife, Priscah Mwaro, spent Mother’s Day in Reykjavik, Iceland.
According to Priscah Mwaro’s Facebook post, Ababu Namwamba took her to Iceland for the occasion, with Priscah describing it as the “best Mother’s Day gift ever!” She captioned their photos, “True Love brewed in Budalangi, served in Reykjavik, Iceland…the best Mother’s Day gift ever!”
This is not the first time the couple has made headlines for their romantic getaways. In October last year, they visited the Taj Mahal in India during a Public Accounts Committee trip.
Priscah Mwaro’s Facebook account indicates that she got married on February 21, 2015. However, Ababu Namwamba’s account has a photo of the two dated March 4, 2013, when he was casting his vote in Budalangi.
Some constituents who spoke to Nairobi News noted that Ababu Namwamba had previously introduced a different woman as his wife during his 2007 campaign trail.
