On Sunday morning, a boda boda operator lost his life in a collision with another vehicle on the Sofia-Ndalani road in Machakos County.
According to area police officers, the deceased was speeding when he rammed into the other boda boda, resulting in the tragic incident.
The operator of the other boda boda and his passenger, a woman, sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment at the Machakos Level Five Hospital.
After the accident, the deceased was rushed to Matuu Level Four Hospital before being transferred to Machakos Level Five Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
