On Saturday, Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu walked his daughter down the aisle in a private wedding ceremony at the P.C.E.A Evergreen Church in Runda.
The bride, Njeri Ndung'u, a doctor by profession, exchanged vows with her longtime love, Dr. Nyotu Gitau.
Among the dignitaries in attendance were former First Lady Mama Ngina Kenyatta and her son Muhoho Kenyatta.
The wedding reception was held at the Windsor Golf Club.
The ceremony came just a day after it emerged that Waititu had shortlisted his daughter's father-in-law for a job at the County Government of Kiambu.
