KCB RFC secured a spot in the Main Cup quarterfinals at the Kakamega Sevens, defeating Kabras Sugar RFC 29-7 in their final Pool C match on July 20, 2019.
Prop Vincent Onyala scored the first try for KCB, which was converted by winger Johnston Olindi. The Bankers' prop then added a second try, while Simba's Prop Davis Chenge also scored a try for KCB, which was converted by Shaban Ahmed.
Levy Amunga converted a try for KCB, making it 29-7 by full time.
KCB's coach Dennis Mwanja said that they're taking each match at a time and acknowledged the experience in the squad, looking forward to the quarters.
