Clashes over a boundary dispute in Trans Mara, West Narok, have led to the arrest of four people, including two chiefs and their assistant.

According to reports, the clashes allegedly saw 15 people injured in Nkararo village after two groups attacked each other with bows and arrows.

The four suspects are being held at Kilgoris Police Station, where they have recorded statements and are assisting with investigations.

Transmara West Police Commander Abdulahi Dahir denied claims that several people sustained arrow-inflicted injuries during the fighting, stating, "We have not seen or heard any information on people who sustained injuries from all sorts of weapons and no such cases have been reported in our police stations."

Police officers have been deployed to the region to restore normalcy.
