Former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama has called for a national prayer to bring back President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto, who he claims have divided politics in Kenya.

Speaking in Matungulu, Machakos County on July 17, Muthama said the relationship between Uhuru and Ruto had been damaged by Raila and Kalonzo.

Muthama accused the leaders of doing politics for their personal gain by pushing for constitutional changes.

He warned Kenyans against being involved in the proposed changes, saying it was a ploy by politicians to deal with their personal challenges.

Tunahitaji maombi," Muthama added.
