On Sunday, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, attended the European premiere of The Lion King in London's Leicester Square, alongside her husband Prince Harry.

During the event, Meghan met the film's stars and cast, including Pharrell Williams, who was involved in the movie's soundtrack.

Pharrell praised the royal couple's 'wonderful union' as 'significant in today's climate,' saying, 'So happy for your union. Love is amazing. It's wonderful.'

Meghan responded with a hint at the difficulties of royal life, saying, 'Thank you, they don't make it easy.'

The exchange came at the end of a challenging period for Meghan, who has faced widespread criticism for her privacy demands.

Just a week prior, Meghan made a private appearance at Wimbledon with two friends, causing a stir when bodyguards told fans not to take pictures of her.

The controversy surrounding Meghan's privacy demands has been ongoing for weeks, with the couple insisting on keeping their son Archie's christening private and refusing to reveal the names of his godparents.
