Mejja, a Kenyan musician, has spoken out about the emotional turmoil he faced after his wife left him without warning.
According to Mejja, his wife broke up with him via SMS while he was in Thika, leaving him heartbroken and confused.
"WE HAD NOT DISAGREED, ACTUALLY WE WERE SO HAPPY. I WAS IN THIKA AND I GOT HER MESSAGE ASKING ME IF I HAD ARRIVED WELL. I TOLD HER YES AND THE NEXT THING SHE TOLD ME WAS ‘MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE’", Mejja recalled in an earlier interview.
Mejja's world was turned upside down, and he fell into a deep depression that lasted for over a year.
"IT TOOK ME ONE YEAR TO GET OVER IT BUT EVEN TO DATE, I AM STILL AFFECTED", Mejja revealed, adding that he had to rely on his friends for support.
Mejja's experience taught him the value of true friendship, and he credits his friends with helping him get through the darkest moments of his life.
Despite his painful experience, Mejja remains hopeful that he will one day find love again and fill the gap in his life.
