July 20, 2019 - The DC Universe has suffered a devastating blow with the sudden loss of a crew member on the set of the popular series 'Titans'. The production has been halted indefinitely after a special effects coordinator, Warren Appleby, lost his life in an accident at a special effects facility.
Warren Appleby, a highly respected special effects coordinator with an impressive 25-year career in television and motion pictures, was killed in an accident during the preparation and testing for an upcoming shoot. Warren Appleby's impressive career spanned numerous award-winning films, including 'The Transporter' and 'The Shape of Water', directed by Guillermo del Toro. Del Toro himself paid tribute to Warren, describing him as a 'top-notch FX man' who was also a 'father and family man, and a colleague, too'.
