July 20, 2019 - The DC Universe has suffered a devastating blow with the sudden loss of a crew member on the set of the popular series 'Titans'. The production has been halted indefinitely after a special effects coordinator, Warren Appleby, lost his life in an accident at a special effects facility.

Warren Appleby, a highly respected special effects coordinator with an impressive 25-year career in television and motion pictures, was killed in an accident during the preparation and testing for an upcoming shoot. The executive producers of 'Titans', along with Warner Bros. Television Group and the DC Universe, have expressed their deepest condolences to Warren's family and friends.

Warren Appleby's colleagues and friends have taken to social media to pay tribute to the late special effects coordinator. Alex Kavanagh, a fellow industry professional, described Warren as a 'vital member of the Toronto film industry' who will be 'sorely missed'.

Warren Appleby's impressive career spanned numerous award-winning films, including 'The Transporter' and 'The Shape of Water', directed by Guillermo del Toro. Del Toro himself paid tribute to Warren, describing him as a 'top-notch FX man' who was also a 'father and family man, and a colleague, too'.
