On July 19, 2019, the Bell Inn/Swinbourne International Cup Championships kicked off at Manyatta Polo Club in Gilgil, with Engel polo team emerging victorious over Axial.
Engel, led by Zambian international Pammy Greenshields, who is also a member of the Zambia national women polo team, scored an impressive 8.5-5 win over Axial.
Greenshields played a crucial role in the match, scoring a goal in the second chukka and providing several assists to her teammates.
Engel's team members included Kenya international Cindy Voorspuy, Megan Griffiths, and Georgina Millar, who scored three goals each in the third and fourth chukkas.
Handicap 4 Aisha Gross scored a double for Axial, but it was not enough to overcome Engel's lead.
