Published on July 20, 2019, the Kenya Basketball Federation Women Premier League is heating up as teams vie for a spot in the top eight. University of Nairobi's Dynamites are one such team, and they will face Western Delight in a crucial match today at Nyayo Stadium gymnasium.

Despite being new to the top tier, Dynamites have managed to secure a spot within the best eight, enhancing their chances of advancing to the knockouts. With 19 points from seven wins and five losses, they are currently seventh on the log.

Key player Faith Atieno will be looking to anchor her side to their eighth win of the season. The match is one of several lined up today, including Storms taking on former champions Eagle Wings and African Nazarene University (ANU) facing off against Kenyatta University (KU) Oryx.

Tomorrow, Strathmore University Swords will look to bounce back from last weekend's defeat to Storms and beat Eagle Wings. Other matches include Western Delight completing their city tour against Tangit Sparks and Zetech University playing ANU.

Ulinzi Warriors will tackle KCA University (KCAU) tomorrow in the hunt for more points to cement their men's Premier League top spot. However, they will be without their main man Eric Mutoro and Joseph Khaemba, who are away on national duty in Bamako, Mali.
