July 19, 2019 - Oracle, a global technology leader, has appointed David Bunei as the new Managing Director for its Kenyan operations. David will lead the company in providing digital services to private and public entities in Kenya.
David brings over two decades of experience in the telecommunications and technology sector to his new role. Prior to his appointment, he served as the Managing Director for Cisco Systems in East Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands.
Oracle's Managing Director for Africa, Andrew Sordam, expressed confidence in the appointment, stating, “David Bunei is a strong fit for Oracle. He has demonstrated the same shared commitment to Kenya, as well as a focus on placing customer needs first. We are confident that under his leadership, Oracle will fortify its reputation as a digital business solutions vendor of choice,”
Oracle is a multinational technology firm with a presence in ten African nations, including Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, Morocco, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Algeria, Mauritius, and Senegal.
