Paris Saint-Germain's 27-year-old forward Neymar has been at the center of a heated transfer saga, with Barcelona offering a staggering Sh11.6 billion plus two players to secure his services. The La Liga champions have been keen on re-signing the Brazilian, who has already expressed his desire to leave PSG.

According to reports, PSG's sporting director Leonardo has confirmed that Neymar could leave the French club if there is an offer that suits everyone. However, the club is understood to want over Sh25.8 billion for the Brazilian, a price tag that Barcelona may struggle to meet.

Barcelona's offer includes two players from a list of six, which includes Philippe Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele, Ivan Rakitic, Nelson Semedo, Malcom, and Samuel Umtiti. However, the question remains as to why these players are surplus to requirements at the La Liga champions.

Despite joining Barcelona for big-money fees, Coutinho and Dembele have largely failed to impress, with the club's fans even turning on the Brazil playmaker. Rakitic, on the other hand, is 31 and has been linked with a summer exit, while Semedo and Malcom were bit-part players last season. As for Umtiti, Barcelona have doubts over the France centre back's fitness after he missed large parts of the previous campaign with a knee injury.

PSG signed Neymar for a world-record fee of Sh25.8 billion from Barcelona in August 2017. However, the Brazilian has struggled to replicate his form at the Camp Nou, and it remains to be seen whether he will be able to secure a move to Barcelona.
