Ms Mueni and Quincy met in college, where it was love at first sight. They started a family soon after, and their marriage lasted for ten years before it came to an end.
According to Ms Mueni, Quincy was a family man who loved children. She recalled that their children could attest to his love for them, and she wished they were present to speak on his behalf.
However, Quincy's life took a dramatic turn when he met former TV anchor Esther Arunga. The two left the country for Australia, leaving Ms Mueni and their three children behind.
Ms Mueni went into denial when Quincy left her, hoping that he would return. However, her hopes were dashed when Quincy sent her a text message, telling her that she was a 'premier class woman' and that there was nothing wrong with her.
The separation was not easy for their children, who faced constant stares and questions from their friends. Ms Mueni admitted that her children went through emotional trauma and abuse, and it has never been easy for them.
