On July 18, 2019, Zari Hassan, the Tanzanian socialite and ex-partner of Diamond Platnumz, exchanged vows with her new husband, King Bae, in a private ceremony attended by family and close friends.
The wedding comes after Zari's highly publicized breakup with Diamond, who is expecting his fourth child with Kenyan model Tanasha Don. Zari had previously revealed that her relationship with Diamond ended due to a 'devil' that came between them.
During an Instagram live session, Zari shared her excitement about her upcoming wedding, stating, 'I'm officially going to get married on Nelson Mandela day which is going to be a beautiful thing and I'm really hoping one day Africa will have five presidents that are like Nelson Mandela.'
