Popular gospel singer Betty Bayo has broken her silence on her divorce from Pastor Victor Kanyari, who was exposed for performing fake miracles in 2019.
During an interview with Jeremy Damaris on a US-based TV station, Kikuyu Diaspora, Bayo shared her side of the story, revealing the emotional toll the scandal took on her.
'At first, I was so wounded with the whole issue,' Bayo said. 'No one would want to be in that situation where everyone is looking at you as a bad person, but sometimes God uses such situations so that other people can learn from your issue.'
Bayo also revealed that she never missed a performance, even after the scandal, and that she has been living in 'flight mode' since then.
When asked if she would consider going back to Kanyari if he changed his ways, Bayo replied, 'I don't think I would go back to him, but that's a topic not to be discussed.'
