Kenyan radio personality Maina Kageni has sparked a debate on the limits of forgiveness in relationships, particularly among women.
Speaking in reference to Esther Arunga's 10-month parole for lying about her son's death, Maina Kageni emphasized the importance of women being vigilant when it comes to their partners' mistakes.
According to Maina, many Kenyan men have a 'policeman' in various police posts who can bail them out on weekends, allowing them to return home without facing consequences for their actions.
He warned women not to give their partners too many chances, saying, 'Today being a Friday most men will switch their phones off. Kenyan men don’t understand that they are married to good women. Women who will take a loan for them, cry when no one knows the whereabouts of their men and men still don’t get it.'
Maina Kageni also stated, 'Its a plot. If you give a man more than 5 chances that ngga will never learn.'
