Leyla Mohamed, the 13-year-old who drew attention after singing a rendition of Wimbo wa Historia, says she is content with her KCPE result of 308 marks.
Although she had hoped for 350 and above, she said the score still met her expectations because it was above her average of 300 marks.
“I am grateful for the marks I have achieved and I am happy I have passed my average marks,” Layla said while speaking to the star.
Mohamed said she is now looking ahead to joining Ngara Secondary School, which she described as her dream school.
She added that her mother was also pleased with the result.
“My mother always told me that she is ready with any marks I will get,” the 13-year-old said.
