A suspected robber was lynched by a mob in Naivasha on Thursday morning after residents reportedly moved to stop a gang linked to rising insecurity in the area.
According to the report, the gang’s plan to target a popular estate was leaked, allowing residents to ambush the suspects in the early hours of the morning.
A witness said at least five men raided the home of a prominent businessman in Naivasha and stole goods. During the confrontation that followed, three of the suspects escaped, one was lynched, and another was arrested.
