Nairobi county government ordered the demolition of a seven-storey building along Kayole Spine Road after concerns emerged over its safety.
A photo of the shaky structure at Bee Centre, Umoja circulated widely on social media on Wednesday, drawing public attention to the building’s condition.
The developer was directed to bring down the block under an enforcement notice issued on November 9. The same notice also required the submission of a structural integrity report within seven days.
The notice said: “You are hereby required to stop further construction immediately and submit architectural and structure plant,”
