Gospel singer Willy Paul has rejected claims that he was rushed to hospital in Nairobi after allegedly taking an overdose of a sex stimulant.
The rumours spread online on Wednesday night, with posts alleging that the musician had been admitted to MP Shah Hospital after using Spedra during a sexual encounter in Parklands Estate.
One viral post claimed that Spedra was “10 times stronger than Viagra” and said the singer had been with his girlfriend when the alleged incident happened. The post was later described as fake.
In a video posted on his Instagram account, Willy Paul denied the allegations and dismissed the story as false.
He also appeared to point a finger at blogger Cyprian Nyakundi, saying: “This is bullshit. Lies what the fk. Why would I need it. Buts what’s with this Cyprian Nyakundi guy?”
The episode came shortly after his collaboration with Jamaican dancehall artiste Cecile drew mixed reactions online.
