Joey Muthengi has said she is not interested in marriage or motherhood, saying past relationships left her wary of getting close again.
Speaking in an interview with radio host Masawe Japanni, the former Citizen TV presenter said she had been hurt in previous romances and now prefers to keep her distance. She said she is single and does not want to get married.
Asked about having a child outside a relationship, Muthengi joked that babies are “good to play with” before adding that she would “baby sit thereafter return to sender.”
She also addressed speculation linking her to footballer McDonald Mariga. Muthengi said there was no wedding and no relationship beyond work, despite rumors that followed their appearance together in a Betin advert in which they played husband and wife.
