On Thursday night, the draw for the 2021 AFCON qualifiers took place in Cairo, Egypt, determining the groups for the tournament. A total of 48 teams were placed in 12 groups of four each, with the top two teams set to qualify for the AFCON finals in Cameroon.

Kenya's Harambee Stars national men's football team has been placed in Pool G of the 2021 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers alongside Egypt, Togo, and Comoros Islands. This means that the team will face stiff competition in their quest to qualify for the AFCON finals.
