Gospel singer Timeless Noel’s father has died after the musician publicly appealed for help with a medical bill.
In a social media post shared on Monday, Noel said his father was in intensive care and in a coma, and asked fans to contribute any amount toward the hospital expenses. He also shared a phone number for anyone who wanted to take part in the fundraiser.
“Hi, it’s Timeless Noel. I hope you’re well. I am kindly requesting you to join help me fund-raise my Dad’s hospital bill. He is in a coma at ICU I’ve tried my level best but my family has run out of funds. Please do let me know if you would like to be part of it. You can send any amount on my number 0726873868 ( Noel Owidhi ) Your prayers are highly needed. Thank you in advance.”
Fellow gospel singer Holy Dave later said Noel’s father had “gone to be with the Lord” and thanked people who had supported the family. He added that the family still needed help as it prepared for the burial.
“Our friend @TimelessNoel’s dad has gone to be with the Lord. As friends and family we tried our best, but it seems God had other plans. Thank you for your support. “Let’s continue supporting the family through this tough period, until we give mzee the deserved send-off. It is well.”
Media personality Jalang’o also sent condolences and said contributions should continue because the family now faced both hospital and burial expenses.
“Thank you to all of you who contributed, we did our best but God loved Mzee most Timeless Noel sadly lost the dad. Don’t stop contribution because now he has a bill and burial expenses.”
