Gospel musician Willy Paul has rejected online claims that he was rushed to MP Shah Hospital after allegedly taking an overdose of a sex stimulant said to be Spedra. The rumours, which circulated on the night before 22 November 2018, also claimed the singer had been with his girlfriend in Parklands Estate.
In a video response, Willy Paul dismissed the reports and said he had not been admitted to hospital. He reacted angrily to the allegations, insisting that the story was false and warning those spreading it to stop.

The claims were framed around Spedra, which the report described as 10 times stronger than Viagra. Willy Paul’s denial was presented as a direct rebuttal to the hospital and overdose allegations, with no evidence in the source confirming that he had been treated at MP Shah Hospital.
The article also referenced other public cases involving sex drugs, including an interview with Reuters in which Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz said he had taken too many Viagra tablets and felt unwell for two days.
