This archive item alleged that Waleghwa Alice was using social media to target men with a clothing scam. The post said she claimed to sell men’s clothes on Instagram and demanded payment before delivery.
According to the complaint, one man sent Sh2,000 for a hoodie after she agreed to deliver it, but the item never arrived. The same post alleged that after receiving the money, she switched off her phone or blocked the buyer.
The article also said she later circulated a screenshot meant to suggest the man had asked to sleep with her. Nyakundi Report has not independently verified that screenshot, and the original post presented it as part of the accusation against her.
This was not the first time her name had surfaced in a fraud allegation. The archive item said that in 2016 she was exposed after asking for money on Facebook while claiming that her parents had died.
The source included several photos and social media posts, but the core claims were limited to the alleged Instagram sales dispute and the earlier 2016 fundraising allegation.
