Kenya's Harambee Stars will face stiff competition in the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, having been pooled in Group G alongside Egypt, Togo, and Comoros.
According to the draw, the four teams will battle it out for the two qualification tickets, with Kenya and Egypt being the only teams from the group to have qualified for the 2019 showpiece.
Kenya's Harambee Stars exited the 2019 tournament in the group stage, while Egypt was knocked out in the Round of 16 by South Africa.
Meanwhile, Kenya will hit camp on Friday, July 19, to begin preparations for the 2020 CHAN qualifier matches against Tanzania.
The two teams will face off in Tanzania for the first leg between 26-28 July before meeting on Sunday, August 4 for the reverse tie in Nairobi, Kenya.
Earlier, Harambee Stars coach Sebastien Migne is set to jet back on Thursday evening, July 18, from France to commence preparations for the CHAN qualification match against Tanzania.
Migne left for France after Kenya was ousted from the African Cup of Nations earlier this month and has been in France for holiday.
