On Wednesday, 21 November 2018, Chioma posted a birthday message for Davido on Instagram as the singer turned 26.
Her caption was light-hearted and affectionate, reading: “Happy birthday hubby? if you leave me water go carry you o? God bless you my love. You’re so annoying but I’d choose you to annoy me for life?? @davidoofficial”.
The post added to the public build-up around Davido’s birthday, which he had already been teasing with hints about gifts and what he had bought for himself.
Earlier in the week, the Assurance artist also thanked God on Instagram, writing: “I give God all the glory. I am grateful. God has got big plans, I see more blessings coming”.
The pair have continued to draw attention online with their relationship posts, including the expensive Porsche car Davido bought Chioma for her birthday a few months earlier.
Beyond the birthday chatter, Davido was also expected in Nairobi for his 30 Billion Concert, scheduled for 24 November at Uhuru Gardens.
