Some commenters urged her to focus on faith, self-respect and her family life. Karanja David said he would tell her “To accept Jesus for the salvation of her soul,” while Kepha Odhiambo wrote, “To dress well, and keeping on being a good mother that she is.”
Others took a lighter tone. Lindah Owour asked, “I would ask where do you buy your expensive clothes or huwa ni mtumba?” and Libby Gabriel said she should remain “a hard working woman” and “ignore keyboard gangsters.”

Benard Owino said she should “keep on working hard and ignore haters like Alai and Nyakundi,” while Baba Buyu argued that “Having a lot of money isn’t everything. She should respect herself and stop printing unprintable.”
Tracie Gatwiri praised her independence, saying she was “Representing me well as a single mother and to be independent.” Mejay Macomber, however, said, “After what happened to Alai, I never wish to meet her… hell noooo.”
Clarissa Precious also defended the singer, writing, “Congratulations for using her wisdom wise n became a millionaire which make many men hate her… keep up madam boss I salute u, she is a strong mum.”
The reaction showed how Akothee’s public comments continue to divide opinion online, with supporters and critics both using the moment to air their views about her conduct and image.
