Peter Kenneth's Mother Rahab Wambui Muhuni Passes Away in Nairobi

On Thursday morning, Rahab Wambui Muhuni, the mother of former Gatanga Member of Parliament Peter Kenneth, passed away while undergoing treatment at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi.

Ms. Wambui had been battling an undisclosed illness for a long time, according to her family.

President Kenyatta and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga have sent messages of condolences to the family of Ms. Wambui.

President Kenyatta said, 'It is with profound sadness that I have this morning received news of the death of Mama Rahab Wambui Muhuni. Condolences to my friend Hon. Peter Kenneth and the entire family. I pray for God’s comfort and providence in this difficult period of mourning.'

ODM leader Raila Odinga also sent his condolences, saying, 'My condolences go out to Peter Kenneth following the passing on of his Mother, Rahab Wambui Muhuni. May God grant him and the family strength and fortitude at this trying moment and may her soul rest in eternal peace. Poleni kwa msiba.'
