Comedian Sande Bush, better known as Dr Ofweneke, says he expects to marry again after separating from gospel artiste Nicah The Queen about a year earlier. In remarks published on 2018-11-20, he said he was already seeing someone special and believed marriage was not far off.
Speaking in a radio interview, Dr Ofweneke said both he and Nicah had moved on since the breakup, which came after the end of their marriage and left them co-parenting their daughter. He was direct about the future: “What I am sure is, I will marry soon and I am dating someone special,” Dr Ofweneke said.
He also reflected on the failed relationship, saying he regretted how things turned out and believed both sides carried blame. “At times I miss her and regret if we did things different, we should have been far,” he said.
Dr Ofweneke further rejected claims that the marriage collapsed because he repeatedly assaulted Nicah. He argued that if that were true, Nicah would not have allowed him to remain involved in raising their daughter after the split.
