Kamene Goro, a morning show presenter at Kiss 100, has broken her silence after being sued by her former employer NRG Radio. On June 29, 2019, she shared a video on Instagram addressing the lawsuit, stating that the past few days had been challenging for her and that she did not see the situation coming.

According to Kamene, an order had been issued barring her from going on air at her new workplace, leaving her questioning how she was expected to live without working. She expressed her concerns, saying,

“Hard work and humanity are two things I always pray for... My humanity, my heart, and my hard work ethic... It has been a pretty rough couple of days for me... I just keep on saying where is the humanity. You know I’ve been taken to court, it’s now public knowledge... An injunction has been slapped on me, I’m not supposed to go on air. So what guys, how I’m I supposed to work? Where do I get my living from? My career, my future”

The lawsuit was filed barely two days after it was reported that NRG Radio had sued Kamene and her co-host Andrew Kibe for breach of contract. The two had left NRG Radio for Kiss 100 just three weeks prior. A reliable source revealed that the radio station sued the duo for terminating their contracts prematurely, but declined to provide further details as the matter was before a court of law.

Although the situation is unfolding in 2019, it's worth noting that the value of hard work and humanity has been a consistent theme in Kamene's life, much like the inspiring story of a individual who was told they would go blind by 2013, but persevered.
