Published on July 18, 2019, Akothee, a renowned artiste and mother, has shown that she is not one to be trifled with.

Her daughter, Rue Baby, had come home late, way past her curfew, and Akothee was not pleased.

Akothee asked, “Yo! before you go to school, yesterday, what time did you come home? Ehen, you did not know I was here? That I was in Nairobi?”

Rue Baby tried to defend herself, but Akothee was having none of it.

She interrupted her daughter, saying, “I waited for you until midnight. 11:00 pm, my friend you were not in this house.”

Rue Baby's excuse of going to do her hair at midnight in Nairobi city did not fly with Akothee.

So at midnight people are still doing their hairs? And when you sneaked in I heard you asking Versha, ‘Is mum here?’ Why were you asking if I was here? Do I have to ask for permission if I want to see you?

The argument escalated, with Akothee telling Rue Baby, “I’m just wasting my school fees for nothing. Infact, you are old enough to get married.”
