Bayern Munich has secured a major transfer coup with the signing of Liverpool star Sadio Mane on a three-year deal, according to reports on June 3, 2022.
The 30-year-old Mane has one year left on his existing Liverpool contract but has been linked with a move away from Anfield this summer.
Mane has been tight-lipped about his future, but sources close to the deal suggest he has spoken directly with Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann.
"Sadio Mane and Bayern Munich have agreed to a three-year contract," a Liverpool Twitter handle, DaveOCKOP, revealed. "He has spoken with Julian Nagelsmann directly. It is now up to the clubs to agree on a cost."
"Last night, Liverpool and Bayern Munich initiated formal talks," the source added.
Mane joined Liverpool from Southampton in 2016 and has since helped the Merseyside club win numerous titles, including the Champions League, Premier League, Club World Cup, FA Cup, and League Cup, scoring 120 goals in 269 appearances.
He also led Senegal to the Africa Cup of Nations title in February.
