Reggae music fans in Kenya have been blessed with the talents of Deejay Charra, a maestro who has been rocking the airwaves for over a decade.
With a career spanning over 15 years, Deejay Charra has established himself as one of the most loved deejays in the reggae music scene.
Deejay Charra started his music journey in 2006, playing various genres before specializing in reggae music in 2008.
He gained popularity after joining Ghetto Radio in 2012 as part of the Entertainment Crew, where he played live on the radio and co-hosted several shows.
When asked about his biggest achievement, Deejay Charra proudly shared, "I have achieved a lot, toured and played on big stages with International Reggae Artists/Deejays, which has also helped me perfect my skills and learn more within the Industry."
Despite facing challenges in his career, Deejay Charra remains optimistic about the future of deejaying, stating, "Deejaying is now a career like any other, unlike what it used to be in yester years but maintains that despite that fact, it is still not a field for everyone."
Deejay Charra is also known for his popular Supa Friday show on Ghetto Radio, where he teams up with other deejays to bring the best of reggae music to their fans.
As he parting shot, Deejay Charra welcomed fans to his Jahmrock Doba family, saying, "To our fans, If u are one of our JAHMROCKDOBA family or a new comer receive a warm welcome. Our train takes off 8pm till midnight every Mon, Wed, Thurs and Fridays. You need no ticket nor baggage to get on board, all you need is clean hands and be pure at heart."
