Media personality Andrew Kibe has been trending online after pictures of him and Pastor Robert Burale emerged, sparking rumors that he was a pastor. However, Kibe has come out to dispel these rumors, sharing his side of the story.
According to Kibe, he got saved in 2009 and had plans to become a pastor, but unfortunately, he was not good enough. He revealed that he was rejected by his peers due to his outspoken nature, saying 'I was not good enough and so they never made me a pastor. I only prayed for myself. The club of friends I was with blocked me because they said I was too outspoken or something like that.'
Kibe also shared that he is still friends with Burale but not as close as they used to be. He revealed that he is no longer interested in the life of a pastor and has moved on to focus on his career as a media personality.
After realizing that being a pastor was not the life he wanted, Kibe went to India and came back in 2016. He then started doing videos on social media, where he now shares his thoughts and opinions on various topics.
When asked if he still has the passion for being a pastor, Kibe replied, 'not like we Christians, who most of us are fake.' He emphasized that religion should be personal and no one should tell you what to be.
Interestingly, Kibe believes he would have been one of the greatest pastors that have ever lived. He shared a recent social media post where he wrote, 'A few years back at this exact moment, I would be in church singing and praising. How things change Huh. Do people still go to church ama niko alone?'
Those who know Kibe from way back have confirmed that he was a great 'man of God' and used to minister at a church in Lang'ata. However, Kibe is now a preacher in a different context, using his platform to share his thoughts and opinions with the world.
